TEACHING EXPERIENCE 1995 to Present
Long-term substitute teaching positions include teaching science and math for one year at Maclay Middle School, an Apple/IBM computer lab class at Sepulveda Middle School, a Special Education class at Porter Middle School and Technology at San Fernando Middle School. Shorter term assignments of less than a semester have covered other core curriculum and elective subjects.
UNION EXPERIENCE
NEA Substitute Teacher Caucus Chair (2003-2011). Successfully lobbied the NEA for the first ever national Substitute Appreciation Day and for the creation of a national voter lesson plan data base.
BUSINESS EXPERIENCE 1987 to 1995

Associate Editor of the Entrepreneur Resource newsletter.
Host and Producer of the cable TV show “The American Dream.”
Provided on-site recording and off-site order fulfillment for business conventions.
Recorded and own the rights to over 240 business lectures covering marketing, finance, inventing, import/export, etc.
